Jaguar E Type Bonnets Once Again In Production
Back in production: Genuine E-Type Bonnets
We are proud to announce that genuine E-Type bonnets are once again in production.
After extensive retooling and a long production run to clear back orders, JCP are able to offer BD36166 (Series 1) BD36788 (Series 2) BD36747 (Series 3) with a fairly short lead time.
As with every genuine part, all parts are built to Jaguar Engineering drawings and specification (where possible).
The bonnets are true masterpieces. Fully authentic and built with the heritage of Jaguar throughout. There are over 450 sub components, many pressed on original Jaguar tooling, hand assembled on original Jaguar jigs and fixtures.
Each individual bonnet is built by a dedicated team, ensuring that the hand assembly and metal finishing of the bonnets is done by the most skilled craftsmen available. After the creation is complete all bonnets are treated to an electro-coated finish.
With the accredited supplier maintaining a regular build schedule, short delivery times are now available, with all bonnets available for delivery or collection in a purpose built wooden crate. Please be aware, these units are hand built and each one can vary slightly, as with the main vehicle monocoque. It is unlikely that an exact fit will be possible because of this factor, without minor modification; Therefore, we advise that all additional exterior components, such as bumpers and headlamps, are pre-fitted, prior to paint preparation – alteration may be required.
